How it works

  1. Start with the activity dates

Use the upcoming weekly grid or add another date for a camp, conference, or special activity.

  2. Plan for the right group

Add activities under Young Men, Young Women, or Combined Youth, with a description, scope, and location.

  3. Choose what to share

Review time or end-date details and turn on sharing when an activity belongs in ward council or bishopric calendars.

Weekly activities and special dates

The planner starts with upcoming weeks on your ward’s configured activity night. It also supports additional dates, multiple activities per group, locations, and multi-day activities.

Sharing is intentional

Youth activities are not shared into council and bishopric agendas by default. Enable sharing when appropriate. Calendar sharing is not a separate confidentiality boundary from authorized workspace access.

Preparation is still a leader’s responsibility

Use the activity description and a practical preparation checklist to coordinate work. The planner does not grant activity approval, verify required training, or replace safety procedures and Church guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Can we plan separate activities for youth groups?

Yes. Each week has Young Men, Young Women, and Combined Youth columns, and each group can have multiple activities.

Can I add a camp or an activity on another night?

Yes. Add a date outside the recurring weekly night. An optional end date supports multi-day activities.

Do youth activities automatically appear on council agendas?

No. Their council-sharing setting is off by default. Enable it for activities that should appear in the council and bishopric calendar sections.

Can we set a location and start time?

Yes. Activities can have a location. A single-day activity can also have a start time; the start-time field is hidden when an end date is set.

Is this a youth account or attendance system?

No. This page describes activity preparation in a ward leadership workspace, not youth logins, attendance recording, or parental consent.

Is Bishopric Board really free?

Yes. Bishopric Board is free forever. Optional donations are available inside the app; nothing is expected.

What information should we enter?

Keep information limited to the names, contact details, dates, and planning details needed for the work. Do not enter financial contributions, worthiness discussions, or interview narratives, including in free-text notes. See the Data page for access and sharing guidance.
